My first property management experience was in 1999 for a large apartment complex company in the Portland, Oregon area. With raising kids I took a few years off here and there but have been in property management more than not over the past 24 years. Since then I have managed a large townhome community where our family lived on site for many years. Then a few years later I managed around 150 single family homes in the Eugene, Oregon area. All while Oregon increased restrictions on Landlords and made it a tougher than normal industry. With all of the changes I took a year off property management to work as an Assistant Project Manager for a high end remodeling company where I soaked up every bit of knowledge I could about remodels, freshening up homes and things to look out for.
In June of 2022 our family moved from Oregon to Eagle, Idaho. We have two young adult children who are thriving in Idaho after the big change of our move. My husband (Gavin) and I have been married since the fall of 2000. We are enjoying all of the beauty Idaho has to offer and exploring one small area at a time. So far our favorite is Idaho City with the hot springs and the tiny home vacation rentals.
My passion is helping owners have well maintained rental homes that last. I work hard to take care of your investments so they will take care of you. I am compassionate about homes being well cared for both by the owner and the tenants. I am always here to help a tenant find rental assistance if they are in need or an owner find the best options when it comes to a maintenance issue. As well as all the other things that come along with rentals.
Currently I am the Lead Property Manager with Blue Sky Homes and get to enjoy wearing many hats in the company. From helping with maintenance requests by tenants, turnover of units, preventative maintenance, leasing, owner questions, creating systems and more.
